Great travel photos from my father. If it wasn’t for him, I probably would have never gotten into photography.

2014 Calendar from a great photographer!
Order one and you’ll also be supporting a great cause.
Photographer Matej Michalik contacted me to offer to do a black and white process of an image I took in New York City in 2008. I’m a huge fan of his work (and have two of his black and white architectural images framed on the wall in front of me) so I jumped at the offer. Here’s how he processed them-I think they’re beautiful!
Check out Matej’s amazing work at his website and subscribe to his great black and white photography newsletter-he offers a lot of valuable tips.

New York, NY
I had the pleasure of attending a night photography technique presentation tonight by landscape photographer Michael Blanchette. One of the most informative presentations I’ve attended. Check out his site-especially the Milky Way and Night Gallery.
Beautiful hawk from Brian Gaynor!
Great shot of a double rainbow in West Springfield, MA from my sister, Nicole. Check out her blog: http://craftymadre.com
My prints from Slovakian photographer Matej Michalik are framed and look amazing. Matej is an extremely talented photographer and an all around great guy to connect/do business with!

Next time you are in NYC and if you’ve never been, I highly recommend bringing an extra $25 and taking the trip to the Observation Deck at the top of Rockefeller Center. Absolutely amazing.
